Autumn & Winter
Various on-road & off-road running groups (from w/c 20th September ’21)
This section updated 9th September 2021
Road running groups – please wear something hi-vis (head torch not required)
On Tuesdays throughout the Autumn and Winter we run on-road (regardless of the weather) from the Hammer & Pincers, Bent’s Green
Runs are 6.30pm to 8pm, normally around 12k to 14k, and always hilly. We normally have at least two groups – a social group and a fast group. Open to all – no need to book, just turn up
Meet under the lights in the Hammer & Pincers car park by 6.30pm. There is loads of free on-street parking around this area. (Don’t park in the Hammer & Pincers car park – they’ve introduced one of those draconian number-plate recognition systems for their car park which automatically generates parking fines.)
- Hammer & Pincers pub, junction of Bent’s Drive & Ringinglow Rd, Bents Green, Sheffield S11 7PW

Our Tuesday evening off-road runs from the Totley Pavilion continue throughout the Autumn and Winter on a smaller scale with one single social group. Runs are 6.30pm to 8pm, normally around 10k to 12k, and always hilly.
Totley AC Pavilion, Tuesdays at 6.30pm:
- Penny Lane / Lane Head Rd, Totley, Sheffield S17 3BA

This section updated 3rd September 2021
- Beginner group (usually between and 60 and 90 minutes, jogging pace). Perfect for those who can do a slow 10k on the road but would like to start fell running and those who would simply like to increase their off-road running confidence.
- Middle group (around 1.5 hours and around 12km to 13km). Perfect for those who love off-road running and simply want to get out onto the moors for a run in the evening with friends
- Faster group (about 1.5 hours and up-to 13km – 15km / often up-to 450m accent). For those who enjoy going a little bit further and a little bit faster
