Additionally, by complete coincidence I\u2019m sure, it was the 4th<\/sup> event of the Totley parkrun challenge 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As always, there were some truly inspiring performances, with the age grade rankings being dominated by Totley, 7 of the top 10 proudly sporting the appealing green and white (Yvonne Twelvetree, Jane Harriman, Pat Goodall and Anne Hegarty taking the 4 top spots and Maggie Gorman, Mick Crookes and Rory Wall completing the club\u2019s dominance of the standings).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Notable pairings this month saw Martin Robbins continue his fine form of running personal bests, only to be pipped on age grade, this time it was Min Wang, also running a personal best, that edged Martin out by just over 1%, amazing running by both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not quite as close was the pairing of Heggs and Wall Junior, with the latter showing how it is done with a personal best run and a humiliating age grade percentage victory of almost 14% (I\u2019ll get you next time Rory!)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 12 Totlies achieved personal bests for the course, great work all. But as always, a big thank you to all of those who took part and showed, yet again, that the Totley running community is a sociable and friendly place to perform a bit of jogging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the next event on the 6th <\/sup>of July, we test our post Round Sheffield Run legs on \u2018heartbreak hill\u2019 as we congregate at Sheffield Castle for the mid \u2013 season gathering, before a 2-month summer hiatus.
