Totley AC Team spirit really shone through at the recent annual Damflask relays on 20\/06\/23. Rain during the day cleared in time for the evening event with warm sunshine and blue skies for perfect running conditions. Amazing turnout and brilliant running from the men and ladies in green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Superb times for all the guys and a special mention to Steve Franklin clocking a speedy 18:40 with Charlie Baker not far behind with a time of 19:40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ladies had a very successful evening winning the F35 (Laura Allen, Claire Biercamp, Jen Applegate), F45 (Caz Kay, Fiona Kestevan, Sarah Harrison) and F55 (Anne Hegarty, Pat Goodall, Liz Dally) team categories and coming 2nd<\/sup> in F35 (Amy Wheeler, Jenny Featherstone, Clair Taylor) and 3rd<\/sup> in F45 (Claire Howard, Celia Naylor, Rachel Biggin) categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to our captains Jen Applegate and Matt Burden for superb organisation of the teams and compiling a folder with all our bib numbers which worked brilliantly. Also, thanks to Caz Kay and Charlie Baker for supporting us all and helping at the bib collection desk. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Go Team Totley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
